- ssh -o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa: connect to servers that only offer RSA SHA-1 host keysssh -o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa re-enables RSA SHA-1 host keys that OpenSSH 8.8 disabled. See the effective list with ssh -G and scope it to one host.
- ssh -o KexAlgorithms: add, remove or prefer SSH key exchange methodsssh -o KexAlgorithms adds (+), removes (-), prefers (^) or replaces key exchange methods. Fixes no matching key exchange method found; tested with ssh -G.
- ssh -o PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa: log in with an RSA key to an old SSH serverssh -o PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa lets an RSA user key sign with SHA-1 for old servers. Formerly PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes; checked with ssh -G here.
- ssh-keygen -l -E md5: show an SSH key fingerprint in MD5 or SHA256 formatssh-keygen -l -E md5 prints an SSH key fingerprint as MD5 hex, the format older tools show; the default is SHA256 base64. Same key, three formats, tested.
