- rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23)rsync code 23 is a partial transfer: some files or attributes failed, usually permission denied or a filesystem without Unix owners or times. Read the errors.
- rsync warning: some files vanished before they could be transferred (code 24)rsync exits with code 24 when files were deleted between building the file list and copying them, typical for logs, caches and temp files. Often safe to ignore.
- rsync: [Receiver] mkdir "/path" failed: No such file or directory (2)rsync creates only the last directory of the destination, so a missing parent gives mkdir failed and code 11. Add --mkpath (rsync 3.2.3+) or create it.
- rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far): error in protocol data stream (code 12)rsync exits 12 with connection unexpectedly closed when the remote rsync never started: not installed, SSH failed, or a login script printed text. Fixes here.
