- Another app is currently holding the xtables lock. Perhaps you want to use the -w option?Another iptables process holds /run/xtables.lock and iptables gave up at once (exit 4). Add -w to wait for the lock, and find the holder with fuser or lsof.
- iptables: Bad rule (does a matching rule exist in that chain?).iptables -D or -C found no rule matching your spec exactly in that chain and table. Copy the rule from iptables -S with -D, or delete it by its line number.
- iptables: No chain/target/match by that name.A chain, target or match module in the iptables command does not exist. Create the chain with -N, use -t nat for NAT targets, and load missing kernel modules.
- iptables: Permission denied (you must be root)iptables needs root or CAP_NET_ADMIN to read or change rules. Run it with sudo; in Docker or Kubernetes add the NET_ADMIN capability, not privileged mode.
