- C error: implicit declaration of function 'foo' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]C compilers reject a call to a function with no prior declaration; GCC 14 and Clang 16 made it an error. Include the right header or add a prototype first.
- C: error: use of undeclared identifier 'count' (gcc: 'count' undeclared)Clang use of undeclared identifier (GCC: undeclared, first use in this function) means a name has no declaration in scope. Fix the typo, scope or header.
- gcc error: expected ';' beforeGCC reports expected ';' before when the previous statement or a struct definition lacks its semicolon. Look just before the named token, often a line above.
- Segmentation fault (core dumped) in a C programA segfault means the program touched invalid memory: a NULL or dangling pointer or an out-of-bounds index. Find the line with -fsanitize=address or with gdb.
